Where Humanity Meets Security: Accessibility in Cybersecurity Challenges Organizations Agility

How do we balance the security of an organization while remaining true to our commitment to inclusion, empathy, and enablement for others?

In 2023 at the Women in Agile conference, Goodhue had the opportunity to speak to a large audience about how the Pandemic not only challenged her but also opened technological doors for herself and other disabled professionals. Fast forward to 2024 and the disabled population is facing a much different reality in enterprise-level corporations: many hurdles remain for this population, and enterprise-level companies may not be as agile from a cybersecurity perspective at embracing and adopting new technologies, specifically around the advancements in AI that many disabled and abled-body professionals have now come to depend on for daily activities.
