Alex Tuck (he/him/his) is the founder and managing principal of Tuck Consulting Group, a firm that specializes in project management consulting for small businesses and nonprofits. After several tenures at large and regional management consulting firms, Alex set out to create a firm focused on better client outcomes through diverse teams with less focus on profit realization rates. He runs this remote-first firm from a farm in Vermont where he lives with his wife and four children.
Through the pandemic, the firm has experienced 15x two-year growth, landing it at #12 on the 2023 Inc. Northeast Regional list, #356 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list, and on the Forbes Next 1000 list.
In addition to Tuck, Alex has served as a nonprofit board member for several organizations, including a microlending nonprofit he co-founded that operates in Central America. Outside of work, Alex is an avid runner (ask him about his joy of running up mountains on a Saturday morning), enjoys international travel, and spends time with his four kids and partner.

Off-Limits Data: Training AI in a World of Contracts, Clauses, and Compliance
As large language models (LLMs) move from pilot to production in healthcare, a new governance challenge is emerging: defining what data can be used for training and what’s contractually or ethically off-limits. Increasingly, healthcare organizations are embedding strict “no LLM training” clauses into their contracts, sometimes even for internal tools. But without clear internal policies, prompt libraries, and data governance structures, teams risk accidental violations or over-compliance that slows innovation.
This session explores how to build an effective AI training data policy:
* What counts as “training” vs. “inference” or “fine-tuning”?
* How to handle customer data with conflicting contract terms
* What internal practices (e.g., model logs, prompt libraries, data tagging) can reduce governance risk?
* How to navigate overly broad contractual restrictions without shutting down your AI roadmap?
Attendees will leave with a practical playbook for managing AI data boundaries inside fast-moving healthtech environments.
