Yaakoub BERROUCHE was born in Setif, Algeria, on January 12. He received his B.S. degree in Communication and M.S. degree in Networks and Telecommunication Systems from University Ferhat ABBAS, Setif, Algeria, in 2009 and 2011 respectively. With a deep passion for advancing technology, Yaakoub has devoted his career to the fields of wireless communications, machine learning, 5G/6G systems, image processing, biomedical signal processing, and mechanical signal processing.

Yaakoub Berrouche was a research staff member in the "Medical Instrumentation and Signal Processing" team at the Electronic Instrumentation Laboratory (L.I.S) in the Department of Electronics, Faculty of Technology, Ferhat ABBAS Setif 1 University, Algeria. Here, he worked on research projects focusing on robust schemes of Multiple Description Coding, contributing to the advancement of fault-tolerant communication systems.
