Abdoulaye Ndiaye is an assistant professor of economics at NYU Stern. His research is on macroeconomics and public finance with interests on the applications of mechanism design to many questions in blockchain protocol design.

Previously, He was a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and an economic advisor in the Ministry of Economic Planning and Cooperation in Senegal.

Abdoulaye advises blockchain companies in the US. In his engagement with Bitcoin, Abdoulaye was a panelist at the Bitcoin Academy of the Human Rights Foundation Freedom Forum 2021 and a speaker at the Africa Bitcoin Conference 2022 in Accra, Ghana.
