Amged B. Shwehdy is a technology strategist and social entrepreneur specializing in digital transformation and policy, dedicated to empowering communities and driving innovation and change. With over eight years of experience, he has led national and regional initiatives advancing digital rights, internet governance, and inclusive technology. He is the founder of Libya’s first ICT4D NGO, co-founder of ISOC Libya, and founder of Annir Initiative, a leading voice in digital policy reform. Amged holds a Master’s in Innovation and e-Governance and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering. He is an ICANN82 Fellow, ISOC Fellow, and Vice Chair of IEEE Libya, contributing to global discussions on internet governance, cybersecurity, and digital inclusion. His work bridges technology and impact, creating opportunities for communities to thrive in the digital era. Amged is also involved in policy research and capacity-building programs across MENA, advocating for people-centered digital ecosystems and sustainable governance models.
