Adriel has over 20 years of professional experience with information security. In 1998, Adriel founded Secure Network Operations, Inc. which was home to the SNOsoft Research Team. SNOsoft gained worldwide recognition for its vulnerability research work which played a pivotal role in helping to establish today’s best practices for responsible disclosure. While running SNOsoft, Adriel created the zeroday Exploit Acquisition Program (“EAP”), which was transferred to, and continued to operate underNetragard. Adriel also provided expert witness and testimony in US Federal court.

In 2006, Adriel founded Netragard on the premise of delivering to its clients high-quality Realistic Threat Penetration Testing™ services, known today as Red Teaming. Since its founding, Adriel has expanded Netragard’s services portfolio to include a variety of other research-based cybersecurity services such as mobile application security testing, source code reviews, web application security reviews, and much more. Adriel continues to act as a primary architect behind Netragard’s services.

Adriel is frequently interviewed as a subject matter expert by media outlets that include, but are not limited to, Forbes, The Economist, Bloomberg, Ars Technica, Gizmodo, The Register, etc. In 2016 Adriel took part in the VICELAND Cyberwar documentary speaking about the zeroday exploit market. In 2018, Gizmodo wrote a biography featuring Adriel and Netragard titled “Snake Oil Salesmen Plague the Security Industry But Not Everyone Is Staying Quiet” where Adriel challenges aspects of the industry. Adriel continues to be a proponent of transparency, honesty and integrity – a keystone of Netragard.

Adriel enjoys public speaking. In 2015, Adriel was a panelist at Blackhat USA discussing the possible adverse effect of the Wassenaar Arrangement to the information security industry. In 2016, Adriel was a keynote speaker at InfoSec World presenting on the Secretive Zero-day Exploit Market. Adriel is also a regular presenter at the NAW Billion Dollar CIO Roundtable and has presented on subjects ranging from the value of Realistic Threat Penetration Testing™ to IoT devices and the risks that they pose.
