Ajey Venkataraman is a Data Scientist with a Ph.D. in Computational Sciences from Purdue University. He currently leads several data science initiatives at Magnite, the largest independent sell-side ad exchange.
At Magnite, Ajey develops machine learning solutions for programmatic advertising challenges. His work includes:

Creating multi-stage ML models for dynamic pricing
Implementing reinforcement learning algorithms to optimize ad delivery
Enhancing platform revenue and efficiency through data-driven approaches

Prior to Magnite, Ajey conducted research at Argonne National Laboratory. There, he applied Bayesian deep learning models to predictive maintenance projects for the U.S. Department of Energy, improving accuracy and reducing costs. During his Ph.D. at Purdue University, Ajey created a numerical and statistical framework incorporating deep learning components. This framework was designed to predict failure in aerospace engine components, contributing to improved safety and efficiency in the aerospace industry.
