First Time Engineering Manager Experiences

Moving into management can be one of the most challenging experiences one can face in their career. It requires a great amount of learning about the ins-and-outs of going from an individual contributor to a people leader. In this talk, we will discuss some of our experiences in becoming managers for the first time and what resources aided in our transition. We hope to spark discussion primarily among those interested in (or transitioning to) engineering management, but welcome all leaders across all spaces.
