Akash Srivastava is a strategy and operations leader with extensive expertise in supply chain transformation, operational excellence, and enterprise value creation. He currently serves as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he leads high-impact engagements across the consumer and operations sectors. In this role, he advises senior executives on complex business challenges, develops transformation strategies, and drives sustainable performance improvements for global organizations. His work spans supply chain optimization, logistics redesign, and frontline productivity enhancement, combining data-driven insights with practical execution to improve operational efficiency and long-term organizational capabilities.
At McKinsey, Akash is also actively involved in mentoring teams, developing intellectual capital, and advancing innovative methodologies adopted across the firm’s global practice. Prior to McKinsey, he held consulting positions at Strategy& and KPMG, leading procurement transformations, digital operating model design, and cost optimization initiatives across industries including energy, metals, mining, and the public sector. Earlier, he worked at Tata Steel, where he managed mining operations and continuous improvement programs, building strong expertise in industrial systems and execution excellence. Akash holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from IIT.
