Akinpelu Oluwaseyi is a young biomedical researcher from Oyo State, Nigeria, specializing in vaccine design, medical AI, and computational biology. His work emphasizes leveraging computational tools to accelerate biomedical discoveries and bridge the gap between AI and precision medicine.

He previously interned at Helix Biogen Institute, where he worked on designing a Mokola virus vaccine. His experience extends beyond the lab, as he has played an active role in health advocacy, including an awareness campaign on NTDs at Wazo Market, a hub for diverse communities.

Recognized for his leadership and commitment to global health, he was appointed as the International Ambassador Coordinator of a biomedical research institute. In this capacity, he fosters international collaborations and amplifies youth voices in shaping health policies across Africa.
