Alex is the CEO and Co-Founder of MOD Tech Labs. Her background in physical and digital design began while earning a BS in Interior Design and Construction Technology. For nearly five years, she has worked in emerging technologies including photogrammetry, volumetric video, XR and AI among others—pushing the boundaries of technology to bring new tools to market. Alex has been recognized by Intel as a Top Innovator for the last three years and was awarded an Innovation Award last year by the Austin Chamber. She is an alumni of Sputnik ATX Accelerator and has had numerous speaking engagements—often focused on emerging technologies—at SXSW, Siggraph, Augmented World Expo, Startup Week Austin, and many more. On the human side, Alex volunteers with organizations that further the access, education, and opportunities to move the needle for underserved communities. Her free time is often spent on family walks, cruising the farmer’s market, and movie nights.
