Currently a District Behavior Interventionist with prior experience being in the classroom as a SPED Resource teacher. With prior experience as a SEW lead within Richland 2, promoting SEL is a huge part of my passion and purpose.
It takes a Village: Empowering Schools and Families with SEL
One school district utilizes district-wide efforts to promote and teach CASEL competencies within the schools and the community. With the use of SEW Leads within several schools, RSD2 teaches Faculty/Staff SEL skills while also spreading the same information to parents and families. The unison between the school and the community allows the “village” to come together to help raise the child.
