Bringing in over two years of dedicated experience, Alexis Blomqvist joined the EVNoire team in March of 2021, currently serving as the manager of Data and Research for the organization. In her role, she has successfully overseen the management and implementation of research in 16 states across the United States, covering a variety of topics such as resource allocation in charging station deployment, electric vehicle accessibility and affordability, and transportation challenges in frontline communities nationwide. During her tenure, she has provided critical oversight for research efforts that have elicited over 22,000 responses from respondents in critical communities such as Black, Latine, and Tribal groups, as well as from low-income, rural, and under-resourced communities. Alexis’ work has been instrumental in projects on behalf of partners such as Uber, Ford, and the Department of Energy, influencing policy developments in city governments and utilities across the country.
Alexis Blomqvist earned her degree magna cum laude from Ohio State University in 2020, majoring in Foreign Policy and Security, with minors in Spanish and International Development. She possesses working fluency in Spanish and Swedish, and is skilled in programs such as R, Tableau, and Qualtrics, as well as mapping software like Datawrapper. Her expertise effectively combines a robust understanding of demographic data and its applications with research design, offering critical insights into the connections between quantifiable measures and communities’ lived experiences.
