Alfred Ongere is the founder and current team lead of Ai Kenya. He has been leading capacity development and industry insights in artificial intelligence in Kenya. He is a passionate Artificial intelligence evangelist dedicated to unlocking understanding of the capabilities of machine learning, data science and robotics. This brilliant innovator is a product of High Impact Entrepreneurship Training in Boston University, under the TrepCamp Program. Alfred is also the host of the Ai Kenya Podcast, a show that focuses on highlighting the innovators, researchers, startups and companies that are contributing to the artificial intelligence revolution in Africa. Among his top achievements in Artificial Intelligence, Alfred received a honorary mention under the Maathai Impact Award in 2018, which recognizes work by African innovators in the field of machine learning and Artificial intelligence. He also delivered the opening Keynote at World AI Show held in Nairobi in March 2019.
