Alfredo is a sustainability leader and educator with over a decade of experience driving institutional change through strategy, teaching, and engagement. He holds a PhD in Sustainability Education from Prescott College and currently serves as Director of the Sustainability Center at the University of Monterrey, where he leads the university’s sustainability strategy and collaborates across academic, operational, and community spaces to create lasting impact. He also teaches undergraduate courses on environmental impact, energy efficiency, life cycle assessment, and renewable energy systems, and has contributed to international academic collaborations in Europe and Latin America. Alfredo believes sustainability is not just an ideal, but a practical and inspiring way to build a more just and resilient future.
