Alison Lynn Sisco transferred from community college and received her B.A. in psychology from San Francisco State University. She spent the next ten years working in mental health counseling, as a paraprofessional, as a Consumer Service Coordinator for individuals that were medically fragile with Inland Regional Center, and as QIDP/Administrator to ICF nursing homes. She left her job at the end of 2019 to pursue a dual Education Specialist Credential and M.A. in Special Education at Cal Poly Pomona. Alison is a recipient of the SEEDS scholarship in the CPP education program. Alison’s passion lies in social justice reform by dismantling the imperialist, white supremacist, capitalist patriarchy through education. She believes in a foundation of autonomy, inclusion, & collaboration, to foster equity that will allow all lives to connect to their world and surroundings in the most meaningful way possible. Alison loves human expression, the water, her partner, Evan, their three fur children- Mama Kitty, Po, and Vanity, and being in service of others. She can be reached at alsisco@cpp.edu
