Alyssa Torske started her academic career studying psychology at NYU. Following her undergraduate studies, she was a recipient of the Congress-Bundestag scholarship which enabled her to continue to pursue her interest in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience in Germany. She has since received her master’s degree in cognitive neuropsychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) and is currently a PhD candidate at the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences at the LMU pursuing her research in the department of neuroradiology at the university hospital of the Technical University Munich.
