Ameni Amri is a 3rd-year Telecommunications Engineering student at ENET'COM (National School of Electronics and Telecommunications of Sfax), where she merges her passion for cutting-edge technology with real-world AI applications. As an AI Intern at Pixemantic, she develops PixOCR, a SaaS solution automating patient data extraction from IDs, insurance cards, and medical documents using Tesseract, spaCy, and BioClinicalBERT, ensuring GDPR/HIPAA compliance via FHIR API integrations.

Her hands-on experience includes:

• AI Competition Winner: Earned 1st place in the SIVAR Challenge 2025 for developing an AI-powered exam surveillance system using OpenCV and YOLOv8 to detect suspicious behaviors in real-time.

• MLOps & Computer Vision: Built an end-to-end fuel consumption prediction pipeline (MLflow, Docker, GitHub Actions) and led FungiScan AI, a plant disease detection tool using MobileNet and Transfer Learning (PlantVillage dataset).

• Art Analysis AI: Created an automated system for classifying artistic paintings (portrait/landscape/still life) using TensorFlow and OpenCV with 92% accuracy.

• Industry Collaboration: Migrated a financial desktop app to a web platform (Symfony/Angular) during her internship at Euro Tech Conseil Tunisie, mastering agile workflows and UML modeling.

• Security Prototyping: Developed a Python-based camera security system prototype with motion detection capabilities.

Certified in Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals and Microsoft Security Compliance, Ameni also organizes technical workshops (including Angular live-coding sessions) and serves as General Secretary of ENET'COM's Orbeats Radio Club, managing partnerships and events.
