Amy Bultena, an arts leader, is a certified trauma-informed arts facilitator and an award-winning educator. She has a B.F.A in Art from University of Georgia, a M.A.T. in Art Education, and an Ed.S. in Inclusive Education from Kennesaw State University. As the Director of Arts for the Stanislaus County Office of Education and Region 6 Arts Lead for the California County Superintendents Arts Initiative, she facilitated arts workshops for 1,500 educators in 2022. Amy authored a SEL and art module for the California Department of Education and published an article on artmaking for SEL through trauma-informed strategies for the Journal of Juvenile Court, Community and Alternative School Administrators of California. She secured grants including a $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education and a $1 million grant from the California Department of Education. Amy's philosophy is to ensure equitable arts access for all; she refuses to refuse the refused.
