Amy is a development professional with 7 years’ expertise in Programme development, implementation and monitoring, evaluation and learning; with a focus on capacity building to support young people living with or affected by HIV to grow their leadership. Before settling in Switzerland, Amy worked as a programme manager implementing education and health projects in Arusha and Moshi, working particularly closely with young people and the local Maasai community. Through this work Amy became really passionate about the innovative ways culture and education can be leveraged to improve health outcomes from the ground up. It was this passion which led her to the IAS HIV Programmes and Advocacy team, where she currently works on the Youth Hub, as well as other youth and capacity building programmes across IAS’ portfolio.
The Youth Hub: designed by young people for young people
This lightning talk will focus on how eleven young people successfully collaborated to create an innovative and impactful digital solution to real world problems in the HIV response.
