Amy Jenkins is a leader, speaker and yoga teacher driven by her mission of using mindfulness as a treatment to overcome mental health challenges. She holds a master’s degree in education and is a former music teacher with ten years of elementary classroom experience. Amy is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Challenge to Change, Inc. where she oversees the organization’s rapidly growing departments, including Yoga in the Schools, Continuing Education, Medical Mindfulness, Trauma-Supports and Publishing. One of Amy’s favorite projects to date is the creation and facilitation of a social-emotional continuing education course for teachers. Her high-level knowledge and passion for SEL has allowed her to teach numerous continuing education courses and speak at many national conferences. She is honored to have this opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of so many others through her work.
