Anastasiya is an actress, director, and producer known for her work with Fragen Theatre Company. Her artistic journey has taken her on a path of exploration, recently culminating in the creation of a show called "The Room of Our Childhood" which premiered at Thessaloniki Fringe Festival. The show combines video installation and live performance to explore her family's personal history after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Anastasiya's passion for the arts and her love for animals merged in her short animated films: “Dedicated to Venechka” and "Melted Heart,” where she served as a director, artist, camera person, and editor.
In the film industry, Anastasiya showcased her talent in "72 HOURS," a documentary shedding light on the death penalty in Belarus. She also played a dual role (producer and actress) in "war.2022," an experimental short documentary exploring the impact of war on Russia's social and cultural fabric.
On stage, Anastasiya's performances have captivated audiences in productions like "The Childless Land," where she acted, co-authored, and produced the show.
Her theater credits include notable roles in "What Can We Do with Burnout?" (Theatre DOC, Moscow) and "A Hero of Our Time" (Edinburgh Fringe Festival) and in many other productions in Great Britain and Russia.
