Anay Paul is a software engineer with extensive experience building large-scale systems and AI-driven developer tools across leading technology companies. Currently a Software Engineer at Meta Platforms Inc., he works on advanced agentic workflows that translate design inputs such as Figma files and screenshots into production-ready frontend code. His work focuses on leveraging large language models to automate software development processes, improve developer productivity, and enable end-to-end UI generation with minimal manual intervention. He has also contributed to complex infrastructure initiatives, including leading efforts for Android Open Source Project (AOSP) migrations and developing scalable agentic platforms that enhance code generation and evaluation systems.
Prior to Meta, Anay served as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where he played a key role in building and scaling Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services. He led projects that streamlined region-building processes, improved metadata distribution across hundreds of service teams, and enhanced system efficiency through automation. Earlier in his career, he worked at Amazon Web Services, contributing to security and infrastructure features such as image encryption and resource management for container registries. His foundational experience also includes roles at SAP Labs and Huawei, where he optimized data systems, reduced latency in large-scale environments, and developed enterprise-grade software solutions.
Anay holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from KIIT University. He brings strong expertise in distributed systems, machine learning, and backend infrastructure, with proficiency in multiple programming languages and modern development frameworks. His work reflects a consistent focus on scalability, automation, and innovation in software engineering.
