Dr. Anca Sailer is an IBM Distinguished Engineer at the T. J. Watson Research Lab where she transforms the clients compliance processes into an engineering practice. Dr. Sailer received her Ph.D. in CS from Sorbonne Universités, France and joined IBM Research in 2003. Dr. Sailer has over 100 patents, co-authored in IEEE & ACM journals and conferences, and co-edited 3 books. She actively contributes to the CNCF Initiatives and LFAI & Data TAG Security and Compliance driving innovation and collaboration within the community. Her interests include AI agents and ethics, compliance as code and skill, and multiomics. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and an aspiring 46er.
