Andrea M. Calilhanna is a PhD candidate at the Elder Conservatorium of Music and the School of Performing Arts at Adelaide University, and the Director of Cherrybrook Music Studio. She is a music teacher with over 40 years’ experience, and her teacher-researcher roles include teaching piano, saxophone, music theory and musicianship. Her thesis is a qualitative study of Ski-hill Graph Pedagogy Metre Fundamentals, based on the metre theory of Richard Cohn (Yale). Andrea is the Postgraduate Student Representative for the Musicological Society of Australia (Sydney Chapter), an author, editor and member of several professional societies, and is available to speak.
