Andrew has spent the last 20 years working across four Australian Universities managing corporate systems in the areas of Technology Commercialisation, Facilities Management, Finance & HR, and Research Management.
In the last 3 years, Andrew expanded this expertise to include the Microsoft Power Platform which resulted in a promotional role leading the Digital Solutions team at the Australian National University. Andrew is now dedicated to realising the value of the Power Platform across the University.
He is super excited by how low code tools empower those closest to the process to take ownership and build out their own solutions.
As an advocate, Andrew also co-chairs with Microsoft on the Higher Education Power Platform Community of Practice in Australia and New Zealand.

Catalysts of Change: pioneered Power Platform adoption at the Australian National University.

Over the past two years the Digital Solutions team at the Australian National University has led the business adoption of the Power Platform. In this session we will share the journey at ANU and how you can achieve the same for your organisation.

This includes:
- defining the use case of the Power Platform within the business
- setting up a team for central support of the Power Platform
- creating the governance guardrails for a community of citizen developers
- developing the business case to purchase premium licensing and level up Power Platform within the business
- setting up and nurturing an internal community of practice
- the art of storytelling and measuring the impact of delivered solutions to demonstrate the value the Power Platform brings to the business.
