Voice Interfaces in Flutter: Building Assistants with Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech

Voice is becoming one of the most natural ways to interact with technology, and Flutter gives us the tools to bring it into our apps today. In this session, we’ll explore how to build a voice-enabled assistant in Flutter by combining Speech-to-Text (STT) for recognition and Text-to-Speech (TTS) for natural responses. We’ll cover the available Flutter plugins and APIs, compare cloud vs. offline solutions, and highlight pitfalls like dealing with Austrian dialect.
Through live demos, you’ll see how to integrate STT and TTS into a Flutter app, structure your architecture for responsive voice interactions, and design UIs that feel intuitive when voice becomes the primary input. By the end of the talk, you’ll have the knowledge to extend your Flutter apps with conversational capabilities—whether for accessibility, productivity, or full-blown voice assistants.

From Vibe to Vector: A Father-Son Guide to AI Engineering

This session is a showcase of using firebase studio. What is exactly unique about it? I'll share the stage with my 8 year old son (Oleksii), who has experience with firebase studio. We will try different approaches to make a working application on stage

Flutter to Native: Migration to pigeon

In this session I’m going to talk about popular tool in Flutter Development - pigeon. There will some lessons learned, best practices and of course a bit of live-coding. This session should be interesting for every Flutter Developer and shows real-world example

Flutter's DNA: Exploring Elements, Widgets and Keys

In this session I'm going to talk about Elements, Widgets, Keys and their relationship. I will explain why keys are important, and how the widget tree operates. With livecoding I'm going to show this complex concepts in a simple way, this should help participants to build efficient and dynamic interfaces

From Waves to Widgets: Sound processing in Flutter

I have degree in physics and in this talk I want to combine physics of sound and sound processing in Flutter with a coding demo. People can learn what kind of libraries do we have for sounds processing in Flutter. Also we will learn what is sound in digital form, what exactly can we process. And the coding demo can solve some real world task for sound processing.
