Angelos is a strategic designer building systems and conditions that drive meaningful impact, encourage radical collaboration, and promote intentional change. He is using design to create more equitable conditions for the planet and its people. Currently, leading the design efforts at a CRACI, as well as his own practice as a solo entrepreneur and activist at Mesa.
For the past 18 years, he has been working with product/service companies and startups, both in early and high-growth stages. His expertise has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Fennia Prize 22 for Service Renewal with the Posti design team for the OmaPosti app, and recognition for branding and packaging design work with Divine premium EVOO for the Greek brand Nature Blessed.
As a thought leader in the design industry, Angelos has delivered numerous talks and keynotes at international conferences and local meetups. He also spearheaded and managed the State of DesignOps global report for two years, contributing valuable insights to the design operations community.
His commitment to advancing the design field extends to co-authoring and publishing the Ornamo Responsible Design Manifesto with members from the Ornamo Responsibility Circle volunteer group.
Angelos has been instrumental in building design communities through event organization, serving as the co-founder at Joint Frontiers and an alumnus organizer of several significant design events including Joint Futures 2019 (a design conference featuring 36 speakers and over 700 international attendees in Helsinki), DSConf 2018 (Finland's first Design System conference), as well as IxDA, UXHel, and Junction Hackathon.
