I have worked in my district for 9 years starting as a sub. After subbing in an elementary, middle school and high school, I knew my heart belonged to the high school. As soon as a permanent position opened up there, I applied. I have moved throughout our kitchen in various areas and am currently working as the head cashier. Working in my 4 children’s school district has been the perfect fit for our family. Things I love about my job: the fast pace, the opportunity to assist with our kitchen’s administrative tasks, providing students with food they truly enjoy, moving our hungry teenagers through the lunch line in an organized and efficient manner, brightening our lunch space with fun decor and the opportunity to show kindness in even the shortest of interactions.
