Aniket Gharpure is a seasoned financial technology and regulatory compliance professional with over a decade of experience spanning investment management, regulatory technology (RegTech), portfolio management systems, and enterprise data integration. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Finance, Analytic Finance, and Econometrics & Statistics, and is a CFA® charterholder.
Aniket currently serves as an Assistant Vice President at Wellington Management, where he plays a pivotal role in the Regulatory Technology team. In this capacity, he leads initiatives to integrate diverse datasets including fund performance, holdings, and transaction data—into the firm’s strategic reporting platform. He is driving the development of an enhanced SEC Form PF filing process in preparation for the Oct 2025 regulatory update and ensuring functional equivalency between legacy filing systems and the new consolidated platform. Previously, on Wellington’s Investment Book of Record (IBOR) team, he led analysts in developing full look-through capabilities, integrating IBOR with enterprise APIs, and designing a master security holdings database to unify direct, indirect, and benchmark positions.
Before joining Wellington, Aniket served as Senior Business Analyst and Scrum Master at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. (GMO), where he was part of the core Salesforce implementation team and integrated ESG and after-tax return data into client reporting. His earlier tenure at Charles River Development (a State Street company) included leading multi-team efforts to enhance portfolio management workflows, integrate market data, and ensure functional parity across legacy and modern platforms. He began his career as a software engineer and consultant at Siemens PLM QMS (formerly IBS America Inc.) and EMC Corporation, specializing in enterprise software integration and automation.
Aniket’s academic and project work reflects his analytical depth, including equity research for the UChicago Student Managed Investment Fund, valuation modeling in entrepreneurial finance, and predictive analytics in machine learning. His expertise bridges business analysis, systems integration, data governance, and regulatory compliance architecture, enabling him to deliver scalable, future-proof solutions for complex, multi-jurisdictional requirements.
