Aniketh is a Final year bachelor student at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, working on Internet protocols, security and privacy. His research interests lie in the intersection of systems and networks in the broadest sense with a particular focus on QoE, security, privacy, measurement and deployment of Internet protocols.
Aniketh has been selected as a Google Summer of Code student twice to work with open source organisations like KDE in 2017 and GNU Linux in 2018. As a Google Summer of Code project in 2018, He implemented DNS over HTTPS into GNU Wget2 resolvers. During his bachelors, he also did an internship at Internet Initiative Japan (Tokyo) where he worked on a writing a version of docker to run natively on macOS. Being an open-source fanatic, Aniketh has contributed to various open sources projects like GnuTLS, VLC, Docker and much more. He has previously been invited as a speaker for conferences such as FOSSdem and Akademy.
