Annette is a doctor in art history (specialized in Impressionism to post-1945 art) with expertise in technology-based art (AR | VR | XR | digital art, NFT, AI) and blockchain-related art transactions. Since 2015, overwhelmed by the long-awaited breakthrough of the blockchain and the possibilities of a decentralized future, she has been working across industries in the still young area of ​​Web3, including Metaverse and NFT. In this sense, she is Founding Partner of the art gallery xcircle® – a curated platform, that combines IRL experience with virtual experience | Co-founder of the Web3 consulting agency MUC/labs, whose interdisciplinary team aims to build bridges to the future of digital ownership | Advisory Board Member of XRXplorer School to redesign school lessons with XR technologies | Strategic Advisor of digital influencer Ava Verce. She is a lecturer in the history of digital art at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and expands this educational mandate as an author and keynote speaker on the topics of NFT, Metaverse and Web3. She is also the managing partner of the art consulting agency ICAA Strategists GmbH and works there on request as a collection consultant and provenance researcher. In 2014 she co-founded and managed Germany's first art fair for digital art: UNPAINTED.
