Annie Snyder serves as Senior Director of Education & Events at the Green Building Initiative, where she leads the strategy, development, and execution of the organization’s education and programming. She oversees GBI’s comprehensive portfolio of educational courses, hosted events, and attended conferences, while directing the end-to-end development of professional credentialing and training programs.

In her role, Annie works closely with industry partners and academic institutions to expand access to sustainability education and supports the next generation of green building professionals.

Prior to joining GBI, Annie built a strong foundation in event planning and program management across nonprofit organizations and the hospitality sector. She is deeply committed to advancing mission-driven work and elevating best practices in both education and events. Annie holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a focus on media development from the University of Central Florida.
