Anthea Jeffrey is Assistant Vice President of Student Financial Services at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she oversees the Student Accounting, Billing, Collections, and Cashiers divisions.

Over a career of more than thirty years in higher education, she has held roles across billing and collections, financial aid, student accounts, registrar functions, and enrollment management.

Anthea specializes in operational efficiency, policy development, and process automation, using data analytics and student feedback to build clear, compliant processes and a better student experience. Her current focus is reimagining how the university communicates with students about money: turning the student bill into a financial navigation tool that builds clarity, confidence, and persistence. She holds a BS and MS from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering (formerly Polytechnic University) and an MBA from Pace University.
