I lead Jellyfish Research where we focus on AI product innovation and study how AI transformation is affecting software companies. Our work empowers software engineering leaders to measure and optimize the impact of AI coding tools and agents, enabling their teams to spend resources intelligently, ship products faster, and align their efforts with what matters most to the business.

I’ve been in startups for 12 years and spent another 10 years before that in national defense research. My background is in applied mathematics (Ph.D., Harvard) and electrical engineering (M.S., Boston University and B.S., WPI).
