arjunraj, a filmmaker, multi-media artist, and pedagogist, focuses on fracturing the colonial psyche by queering it with kindness and humor. Pursuing MA in Visual Anthropology from the University of Münster, arjunraj teaches decolonial filmmaking and collaborative storytelling practices at the University of Freiburg and Freie Universität Berlin. Drawing from a decade of experience in telling stories rooted in embodied knowledge of discriminatory suffering, arjunraj is on a journey to deconstruct the semiotics shaping the self. arjunraj is currently working on "Liminality," a feature film supported by the CIRCE fellowship and the Crossing Borders fellowship by Robert Bosch Stiftung. arjunraj creates evocative films and thought models aiming to transform behaviors towards mutual acceptance.
