Alberto Rodriguez is a seasoned Information Security Professional with over 8 years of experience in securing critical infrastructure, performing penetration tests and red team engagements, threat hunting, and responding to incidents. His specialty lies in adversary detection and simulation, drawing from his extensive background as a former Cyber Operations Officer in the Army.

At Bad Sector Labs, Alberto helps create solutions that security teams can use to focus on their core mission: attacking and defending. Additionally, he leads a team of offsec practitioners as a Managing Security Consultant (MSC) at Guidepoint Security. Their mission is to identify risk in clients' networks before the criminals do. He has presented at various security conferences to include BSides Augusta, Bsides Orlando, AvengerCON, GRRCon, and VetSec CON.

Alberto holds a graduate degree in Digital Forensics from Champlain College and an undergraduate degree in Information Technology from Broward College. He also holds several industry-recognized certifications to include OSCP, CISSP, CRTO, GRTP, GCWN, and GPEN.
