As Director of Software Engineering Client Applications at Tubi, a Fox Corporation subsidiary, Mr. Shankar has played a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of over-the-top (OTT) media delivery. Most notably, he led the engineering execution for Super Bowl LIX streaming infrastructure, which successfully delivered fault-tolerant, high-throughput video to over 15.5 million concurrent users, one of the largest in history for live-streamed sports events. Mr. Shankar has demonstrated exceptional ability in client-side infrastructure, multi-CDN design, cloud-native development, and performance optimization across platforms such as Samsung TV, FireTV, LG, PlayStation, and Xbox.

His groundbreaking work in transitioning Tubi’s OTT architecture to an edge-optimized static delivery model has set new benchmarks for scalability and reliability, significantly improving the quality of experience for over 97 million global users.
