Arvind Badrinarayanan is a visionary global business leader with extensive, multifaceted experience in operations, supply chain, and executive management across manufacturing, distribution, and e-commerce industries. With a strong foundation in engineering and dual MBAs from MIT Sloan School of Management and Cranfield School of Management, Arvind has consistently demonstrated the ability to drive transformative outcomes through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and innovation.
Currently based in Orlando, Florida, Arvind most recently served as Operations Manager at Amazon, where he led large-scale supply chain initiatives and spearheaded AI-enabled process enhancements. His leadership improved truck fill rates, enhanced operational efficiency, and elevated employee satisfaction. He also championed cost-saving initiatives, such as the PIT Champion program, and launched a financial inclusion workshop that empowered frontline associates in financial planning.
Previously, as CEO of Kartasi Industries in Kenya, Arvind transformed the company into a regional powerhouse. Under his stewardship, the company experienced substantial revenue growth and improved EBITDA margins. He oversaw strategic product launches, including the introduction of Disney-licensed products, and led geographic expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa. His operational reforms, including supply chain optimization and implementation of analytics tools, elevated delivery performance and reduced costs.
Arvind’s leadership at Transpaper Kenya Ltd as Chief Operating Officer saw him implement a cost reduction strategy and forge global partnerships to offer end-to-end solutions in the print and packaging domain. His earlier career included leading retail expansion for Apple’s premium reseller network in India and managing regional sales and distribution for Technova Imaging Systems across Africa and South Asia.
Recognized for his analytical acumen and deep commitment to continuous improvement, Arvind holds multiple certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, and Certified Board Director credentials. He is currently pursuing the APICS CSCP and has completed Amazon’s “AI for Leaders” program.
