Making Flutter Web Production Ready for Progressive Mobile SDK Solutions
The talk would focus on boosting the power of Flutter Web as a Mobile SDK/SaaS solution, with Nuclei's in-house native wrapper library for both android and iOS, called FASM(Flutter Web Assembly).
We at Nuclei (a fin-tech Indian company, working with major Banks across India, Southeast Asia and Middle East regions), have adopted flutter, to build SDK based solutions for the native client apps. Embedding Flutter Web as Mobile Web SDK in client apps, invites a lot of challenges like slow initial loading due to the heavy size of Flutter Web static resources, release plan concerns, backward compatibility issues, etc. This pain and high demand for On the fly SDK releases and less overall SDK size, led us to build FASM which is something novel of our own. Soon planning to make it open source for the community to use and build on top of it.
The key features of the above solution to talk upon would be as follows:
1. Drastically improving on-demand/lazy loading speed(almost by 5x) of the flutter web app, embedded as SDK or standalone in any native android/iOS SDK/ Mobile App
2. Seamless and abstract flutter web integration to native mobile platforms
3. A smart plan to release the Flutter web modules on the fly, without need to make native app releases.
4. Strong backward compatibility with older releases of Flutter Web modules.
This solution is something that is not in the community yet, and has full potential to revolutionise Flutter Web as Progressive Mobile SDK solution, embedded into client Apps.
Let's see what Nuclei is cooking for the Flutter Web community.
