Hey there—I’m Ashley, the voice behind Audibly Ashley. I’ve spent over a decade in the nonprofit world, building things from scratch, standing up for kids and families, and cheering on the helpers who make it all happen.

In addition to founding and running Upper Valley Child Advocacy Center, I speak, consult, and create space for people to rediscover their why—especially when the work gets heavy. I’m all about heart-led leadership, honest conversations, and reminding folks they don’t have to lose themselves to make a difference.

If you’re into purpose-driven work and real talk—let’s connect.

HOPE-Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences

Based out of Tufts Medical Center, HOPE – Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences – combines a public
health approach to preventing child abuse with a broader understanding of how children grow to become
strong, healthy, and resilient adults. HOPE provides a common language to describe the kinds of experiences
that counteract effects of adverse experiences and promote healthy development. We have found that when
HOPE IMPLEMENTS our strategic actions, we build a collective understanding of the importance of positive
experiences and agencies can then create a paradigm shift in systems of care, communities, and policies to
value and actively bolster positive experiences as they interact with children and families.
This workshop will cover the research behind Positive Childhood Experiences and their mitigating effects on
ACEs, the Four Building Blocks of HOPE, and the power of the brain to heal. This presentation will help
participants develop ideas of how to incorporate the HOPE Framework into their daily practice.
