Audrey Woods is the Sustainability Program Coordinator at Amherst College and a former Green Dean in the Office of Sustainability, where she develops and leads cohort-based and campus-wide programs focused on engagement, systems thinking, and behavior change. At Amherst, she leads the Sustainable Career Initiative, a first-year program she designed, piloted, and continues to refine. The program provides early-career intervention by building self-awareness, introducing key campus and professional resources, and developing foundational sustainability competencies through workshops, hands-on activities, and alumni engagement. It frames sustainability as both an accessible entry point and a foundation for a wide range of career paths, while supporting students in self-directed exploration. Now in its third year, the program continues to evolve based on student feedback and learning outcomes. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Amherst College.
