Rethinking Media Gallery with Flutter
The Gallery app on every smartphone has been the same(and monotonous), ever since it came out. They have the same boring grid UI and not really prepared for good user interaction.
Since the dawn of Android, it has been over 7 years! There is no change in the app still. With the magic of Flutter, the workshop will revolutionize how we interact with the Gallery App. With concepts of Staggered Animations and Tween animations, even the simplest of animations can turn an app into a beauty!
Staggered Animations is an alien concept to a lot of Flutter Developers who are unaware of how powerful these animations can be! The workshop aims to revamp the Gallery App with the help of Gesture Detection, Staggered Animations, and Optimal UI/UX Interface Design Concepts. From simple animations of sliding images to complex animations of crumbling images like paper and physics of throwing them away, we will take a hands-on workshop on how to build and implement these animations from scratch to satisfy a more than half decade long desire of a satisfying Gallery App!

0 - 20 mins: Introduction and writing boilerplate code to make a simple gallery app UI
15 - 25 mins: Adding functionalities of gallery app like delete, favorite, and share.
25 - 40 mins: Adding Gesture detector to make it interactive. i.e. Pinch animation to zoom in and zoom out, adding functionalities on side gestures.
40 - 75 mins: Adding tween and staggered animation in the gallery app. i.e Adding staggered and tween animation to make the photo disappear by changing the dimensions from the screen when deleted.
75 - 90 mins: Closing, Q/A session & Buffer time.
