I am a Principal Software Engineer at Couchbase, specializing in distributed systems, AI infrastructure, and secure cloud-native platforms. With 10+ years of experience across Intel, VMware, and Huawei, I have architected large-scale systems spanning distributed AI, control plane systems, and cloud-native platforms.
I was honored as one of IEEE Computer Society’s Top 30 Early Career Professionals (2024). I also received the Intel Distinguished Inventor Award for contributions to security, distributed systems, and confidential computing. I am an inventor on 10+ patents across AI, security, and distributed systems. My work includes building secure federated AI platforms at Intel and large-scale backend and platform systems at VMware and Huawei.
I am a frequent international speaker, having presented at major conferences including API World (Main Stage 2025 and 2024), BuildETH, Open Source India, and academic institutions such as IIT Madras. My recent work focuses on AI systems, distributed systems, control plane design, and security for large-scale platforms.
I also serve as a peer reviewer for leading venues including IEEE, AAAI, and ICLR.

Designing a Control Plane for Agentic Systems using MCP
As MCP-based systems grow in complexity, standardizing tool interaction alone is not enough to ensure reliable execution. Control-plane perspective for MCP-based systems, grounded in distributed systems principles such as scheduling, retries, idempotency, and fault isolation. Coordinating multi-step workflows across MCP servers introduces challenges such as partial failures, inconsistent state, and retry behavior that can escalate under load.
The focus is on how a control plane actively manages execution, including deciding when and how tool calls are made, handling failures dynamically, and coordinating workflows across multiple services. It also examines how centralized control improves reliability and consistency in complex MCP-based systems. Concrete mental models for building scalable and reliable MCP-based systems.

Guardrails for Autonomous APIs: Enforcing Safety, Ethics, and Compliance in Agent Systems
With the rise of autonomous agents, ensuring their behavior remains predictable, safe, and ethical is becoming more critical than ever. In this session, we will explore how to implement semantic, policy-driven, and behavioral guardrails to control agent behavior and keep them within safe bounds. Will cover how these guardrails can prevent agents from making unintended or harmful decisions, especially when interacting with sensitive data or in regulated environments. Using tools like LangChain and LangGraph, we’ll demonstrate how guardrails can be applied to agent systems to maintain safety and compliance, ensuring these systems operate in a responsible and predictable manner. This session is ideal for anyone working with AI or API systems where trust and security are paramount.

Microservices for Confidential Computing Ecosystem
Confidential Computing is an emerging field which makes it possible to protect and secure data in use. Microservices built for this ecosystem have fundamental uniqueness in terms of architecture and design. There are many offerings in the Confidential Computing ecosystem which can help developers build Microservices with more ease. In this session, will cover about above and more specifically fundamentals of Confidential Computing such as Attestation, Sealing, etc. along with how Microservices should be thought of, built, deployed and managed for this emerging ecosystem.
