Ben May is the Founder and Managing Director of The Code Company, a specialist enterprise WordPress agency working with media, publishing and content-driven brands across APAC and internationally. His team's philosophy is simple: less tech, more journalism. Publishers should spend their energy on content and audiences, not fighting their platforms.
Ben has spent nearly two decades building on WordPress, from his personal blog (running since 2005) to large-scale publishing platforms handling serious traffic. More recently he's been focused on how publishers and agencies should actually think about AI, cutting through the hype to what solves real business problems. He also runs Enqueue, a curated WordPress developer conference in Australia.
