Bernadette is a gifted Story Teller and a Genealogist with 15 years experience who focuses on helping clients understand Ancestral Trauma, how it is passed down and why healing is so important.

She has a degree Psychology and years of training and education working in school system with students and families who experienced trauma. As former Elder Care Manager, she also hold a Certification as an End of Life Doula from the Larner College of Medicine at University of Vermont. It has given her an increased understanding of grief as she compassionately guides families in understanding the emotions that often come up as the stories and pictures emerge of families past. Her experience also gives her a unique focus as she researches a family, uncovering for them, the traumas but also the triumphs their ancestors experienced, and what may have passed down to their generation.

It is beginning of the Ancestral Healing process and it can bring peace and forgiveness along with the knowledge that we also carry the Blessings of our Ancestors as well. Bernadette has worked with many different families and many complicated family trees. She is skilled in working with DNA results as a tool for genealogy research and has help many families with Adoption to understand their biological family origins..
