Dr. Beth Heuer is an Associate Clinical Professor and the DNP Program Director at Temple University. Additionally, she practices in an integrated mental health care clinic through Temple University Pediatric Primary Care Clinic. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Pittsburgh and her DNP at Robert Morris University. She has served as the NAPNAP executive board secretary and is the former chairperson of NAPNAP’s Professional Issues Committee. A passionate advocate for preceptor education and incentivization, she is a co-editor of the upcoming book ‘The Nurse Preceptor Toolkit: Preparing Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses for Clinical Practice’.
