Professor Ashenmiller is an environmental economist at Occidental College. She is the faculty advisor to the Touchdown Thrift, Occidental’s student-led campus thrift shop. Her research focuses on individual and household recycling behavior as well as climate adaptation policy and how to quantify the value of the non-market benefits of nature-based interventions.
