Blair Motchan has spanned beyond the role of being just a software engineer throughout his career. In addition to devloping software, Blair has practiced law, started his own consulting company, and ran an IT and Engineering department. His unique experiences help him bridge the gaps between Engineering, Product, and Business and bring people and teams together. He currently works for Label Insight as an Engineering Lead. In his spare time, Blair enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, being outdoors, and sculpting.

They will provide real world examples of how serverless functions have helped Label Insight become more agile by developing code quicker and meeting business needs faster. Attendees will learn how to write serverless functions in three separate cutting edge Java frameworks.

They will explain the services, when to use them, and compare pricing. And Blair, John, and Kevin will provide real world examples of how the services have helped Label Insight become more agile by developing quicker and meet business needs faster. Attendees will learn which AWS offerings could be best to use when migrating to the cloud or about a better solution if they’re already on AWS through this summary overview.
