I lead the team responsible for building the big data analytics engines powering Microsoft Fabric. This includes Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and AI/Data Science components. Our focus is on empowering users to shape their data into lake-centric, open formats in the Microsoft Fabric OneLake storage, and to model and share their data via powerful, configurable AI Agents.
Since 2021, under the Fabric umbrella, the Microsoft Analytics stack has been reinvented and revitalized by rearchitecting the Data Warehouse into a modern, fully transactional, lake-centric solution and by enhancing our Spark offering with significant performance and productivity enhancements, making Fabric Analytics the best price*perf analytics offering in the Azure Cloud.
